WAC keynote session with author Linda B. Nilson Aug. 20

Faculty members are invited to this year’s Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Workshop featuring a keynote session at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 led virtually by Linda B. Nilson, author of such publications as “Teaching At Its Best” (now in its fifth edition) and “Infusing Critical Thinking Into Your Course” (2021).

All faculty are warmly invited to attend the keynote workshop, even if you are not attending the full workshop series.

The three-day WAC Workshop series, held this year Tuesday, Aug. 20 through Thursday, Aug. 22, is the required means by which faculty become certified to teach Writing Intensive (WI) and Written Communication (WC) courses such as Intellectual Foundations. Learn more about the WAC Workshop series
