Carthage’s School of Business and Economics is beyond excited to announce an exciting new program for the City of Kenosha — BizStarts Kenosha!

As part of this program, the School of Business and Economics is hosting a business bootcamp for Kenosha residents starting Saturday, Oct. 18. Delivered at the Kenosha Innovation Neighborhood, this program is designed to equip entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to grow their businesses and business ideas.

BizStarts Institute uses a credentialed system of learning modeled after University of Notre Dame Professor Michael Morris’ entrepreneurial program. This program is recognized for its positive results around the world and is currently held in around 45 cities. Our business bootcamp will be held in six sessions where entrepreneurs will be given all the support needed to improve their businesses addressing all facets of a successful venture ranging from:

  • The development of a viable business concept
  • Understanding your market
  • Designing your profit model
  • Marketing and sales for your venture
  • Understanding the basic numbers
  • Setting up operations properly

After the six-week program, entrepreneurs will have access to mentors, business coaches, and student consultants to continue improving their ventures.

Registration opens Monday, Sept. 8!
