Illinois state senator visits Law and Economics class

Students in Professor Jennifer Clark’s Law and Economics class worked hard to research and develop proposed new legislation involving AI, sustainability, space, and other issues. 

They presented their findings to Illinois State Senator Mary Edly-Allen and asked her to help turn their policy ideas into laws. Senator Edly-Allen was impressed with their well researched policy ideas and encouraged them to keep working on turning their policies into laws.
