Epiphanies New Works Festival shortlists play by Prof. Rick Bingen ’15

Professor Rick Bingen’s play “THE MEMORY LEAK,” a 2024 finalist in the Wisconsin Wright’s New Play Festival and a semi-finalist in the 2024 Eugene O’Neill National Playwriting Conference, was just shortlisted in the 2025 Epiphanies New Works Festival.

“THE MEMORY LEAK” follows David, a talented computer programmer who has lost some of his most precious memories. But a sudden worsening of David’s condition forces his sister, Jenna, and her fiancee, Margot, to race against the clock to create a device to save David’s leaked memories before he loses himself completely.
