Attend the Stratford Theatre Festival: Registration due April 15
This fall, Carthage will continue our annual tradition of taking a long weekend trip to Stratford, Ontario, Canada to see plays at the world-class Stratford Theatre Festival.
Any Carthage student, graduate, staff member, or faculty member interested in literature and drama should consider joining us for this extraordinary experience! This year’s festival takes place Thursday, Sept. 11 through Saturday, Sept.13.
The plays this year are “As You Like It,” “Macbeth,” a choice of “Annie” or “Anne of Green Gables,” a choice of “Sense and Sensibility” or “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” “Ransacking Troy,” and “The Winter’s Tale.”
All Carthage students are eligible for Stratford scholarships and should keep an eye out for announcements about the application process. Winner(s) will receive cash toward the cost of the Stratford Festival trip, including bus fare, hotel room, and theatre tickets.
Register to attend the festival by Tuesday, April 15.
If you have immediate questions about the trip or can’t make the information sessions, please write to stratfordtrip@carthage.edu or Professor David García at dgarcia@carthage.edu.
