How Merit Pages promotes student achievements
Merit Pages is an online platform that Carthage students use to proudly display their achievements throughout their college careers.
From awards, involvement, and experiences — Merit is an easy way for students to keep track of all their hard work. Parents can easily share these posts on their social media accounts!
Carthage uses Merit as a tool to give students the recognition they deserve. Whenever students receive a badge on their Merit page from Carthage, such as being on the Dean’s List, we send a release to the student’s hometown media. Carthage can also share the news with high schools and government officials.
Student Merit pages can be personalized. They can add their profile picture and edit the information, such as their majors, clubs and organizations, scholarships and awards, work experience, and more. As students keep track of their college career on Merit, they build a credible track record that could help when it comes to launching their future careers.
When students receive a badge from Carthage on Merit, parents receive a personal email to inform them about their student’s latest achievement. Badges include the Dean’s List, J-Term involvement, graduation, student involvement, and more.
