Notice: Parking and traffic modifications this weekend

The following parking and traffic modifications will take place this weekend to accommodate the Carthage Christmas Festival, as well as a full schedule of athletics events.

South Upper Lot / Service Drive Parking

The South Upper Lot closed at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 and will remain closed until the evening of Sunday, Dec. 8. Parking in the South Upper Lot will be utilized for handicap/limited mobility parking needs of Christmas Festival guests. The H. F. Johnson Center for Fine Arts service drive/loading dock area also closed at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 to facilitate festival production needs. 

Campus Drive Traffic

Traffic on Campus Drive will be modified to one-way southbound traffic at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7, and at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. Two-way traffic on Campus Drive will resume approximately 45 minutes after each show.

We anticipate large crowds throughout the weekend. Please use caution and watch for pedestrians.
