Diego Castañeda ’25 wins best undergraduate poster

Diego Castañeda ’25 presented his Carthage research at MSOE during a poster session sponsored by the Milwaukee section of the American Chemical Society. At the poster session, Diego won an award for the best undergraduate poster presentation.

Diego’s research used magnetic resonance spectroscopy to study green, eco-friendly molecules that can be used in detergents and cosmetics.

Diego did research in Carthage’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experience in the summer of 2023.

His research was supported by the National Science Foundation.
