Biography

Conner Olsen is a dedicated career specialist currently supporting students in the engineering, physics, and exploratory undecided tracks. Mr. Olsen draws upon seven years of experience in K-12 education and his master’s degree in school counseling to help students clarify their career aspirations and chart a path toward success. His deep understanding of student development and passion for education make him a trusted resource for students navigating academic challenges and career decisions.

Before starting Carthage in 2025, Mr. Olsen spent a decade coaching football, where he developed valuable leadership skills and a deep commitment to mentoring young people. This experience continues to influence his approach to career counseling, as he believes in the power of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance in achieving long-term goals. Mr. Olsen is particularly skilled in building strong, supportive relationships with students, helping them feel confident and empowered as they make key life decisions.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Olsen is a passionate fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. He enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s fishing, golfing, or simply soaking in the natural beauty of the world around him. Above all, he cherishes time with his wife and two young children, often exploring the outdoors together and creating lasting memories as a family.
