Specializing in Overwatch, Mason has been playing since 2018 and quickly advanced through the competitive ranks, earning spots in professional-level tournaments before even starting college. His years of dedication to the game have not only sharpened his skills, but also fueled his interest in the broader world of game development.

My career goal

“My career goal is to be able to work on or make a great game for people to play. Knowing the competitive side of gaming will help me understand the difference in mindsets of people who play the games.”

Advice for other student-athletes

“If you truly want to compete at the college level, you should give it a shot. Even if you have been told that you aren’t good enough, never give up on your dream if you want it to come true.”
