How did Carthage prepare you?
“The small class sizes and the personal relationships I made with professors gave me the perfect environment to learn and grow. The ability to play competitive team sports also gave me friends and relationships I will have for the rest of my life.”
What opportunities were made possible because of your Carthage experience?
“The personal relationships I was able to make with professors allowed me to be involved in great learning experiences and résumé builders like research, tutoring, and being a department fellow. This set me up for success in getting into graduate school and in my career.”
What Carthage professors played a part in your success and how?
“Professor Paul F. Martino and Professor Andrew Pustina were some of the best people and professors I have ever met. Their enthusiasm for teaching and helping young people to grow shows every day in the classroom. Their belief in me provided me with great opportunities in research and tutoring. Working with these professors beyond the classroom made me more passionate about learning and education and inspired me to pursue graduate school.”
Tips for current Carthage students?
“The time flies, so have fun and soak up all the memories you make with your friends.”
