
Taylor DeGroot
Taylor DeGroot joined the Carthage College athletic training staff in the summer of 2021. She received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2019. She then continued her education, receiving her master’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the spring of 2021.
During her time at UW-Madison, she was a graduate assistant in the kinesiology department, teaching undergraduate students anatomy lecture and anatomy lab. While obtaining her master’s degree, she also worked for two years at Richland Center High School.
DeGroot is the primary provider for women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s wrestling, softball, and e-sports at Carthage. Taylor will be starting her second year as an adjunct professor here at Carthage College, teaching ATH 5301 and ATH 5501. She also works as a preceptor, having students work under her to continue learning within their clinical rotations here at Carthage College.
