The Carthage Musical Theatre Department presents “Head Over Heels” in the Wartburg Theatre.

Showtimes:

May 1-3 | 7:30 p.m.

“Head Over Heels” is an exuberant and uplifting musical that combines the infectious pop songs of the Go-Go’s with a whimsical and adventurous story. In this production, we follow a traveling theatre troupe as they perform the “Arcadia,” where a prophecy threatens the kingdom’s future. However, the troupe begins to experience the magic of “the beat,” which adds an enchanting layer to their tale. With its vibrant script, catchy tunes, and bold characters, “Head Over Heels” celebrates the power of embracing one’s true self, challenging traditional notions of love, gender, and self-expression in a joyous and empowering way.

Content Preview: “Head Over Heels” contains adult themes, mature language, non-graphic sexual content and scenes portraying diverse representations of love. This production also features fog, haze, strobe lights, and staged sword combat.

Tickets can be bought in person at the Box Office from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, in the Wartburg Theatre; over the phone at 262-551-6661; or online.
